Pranpur Village, Chanderi is a weaving village with every house having a loom ! We visited on Nov 9th and ofcourse I bought a few sarees.
Found an Indie Food Truck in Dr. A S Rao Nagar run by a Tamilian from Palghat. The food is tasty and so inexpensive !

India has such amazing native seed oils like Sesame, Coconut, Mustard and Groundnut oils. Consume those, Not refined (in)edible oils.
For my birthday on April 6th, I wore another handwoven beauty from Odisha. This is a “Nine Motif” Nabakothi saree in deep moss and black.
I wore a Sambalpuri Cotton Saree with intricate Bandha work for my star birthday on April 2nd. 🙂 Its a beauty with dancing women all over.
Was reminded of the Baazigar song Yeh Kaali Kaali Zulfen, as my hair turned jet black after using Vrudhi Naturals hair colour. Go for it. Highly recommended.
I love the Kanchi “pattu” sarees, and own a few, this is the first Kanchi Silk Saree that I bought directly from the Weaver, Mr. Gopinath.
