This book is the story of Suk-bo a young Korean girl married to Hisashi, a Japanese. Despite the terrible relations between Japan and Korea, these two genuinely fall in love.
Learn a little bit of Korean history through William Andrews books. The Dragon Queen is about Queen Min, the last queen of Korea. Do read her fascinating story.
Daughters of the Dragon is a fictionalised account of Korea during WWII and the dark period of the Japanese occupation. Comfort Women are still to be acknowledged…
I enjoyed Simon Gervais’ latest book, The Elias Enigma, featuring Caspian, who navigates a complex mission in France while neutralising or befriending old threats. A thrilling read!
Finished reading books 2 & 3 in the Clayton White series written by Simon Gervais. Those who like Robert Ludlum’s style of writing and his genre, would love these. 5/5

I finally discovered a worthy successor to Robert Ludlum – Simon Gervais. The Elias Network is a fast paced thriller that will keep you turning the pages quickly. Do read.
The mini-series adaptation of “The Ink Black Heart” is engaging. Tom Burke’s performance as Cormoran Strike is “striking”. The mini-series is easier to watch than the book was to read.
