Hailstorm in January !

The rains today were torrential. Our kitchen had a mini waterfall due to the deluge. Faulty building design ?
It was Aadi Amavasya on the 20th of July. For the past couple of days it has been raining regularly. I captured the sound of rain pouring in a video 🙂
The sky has been overcast for nearly the whole day… just started to rain, but we are praying for the rains to pour :). Heat + Humidity is unbearable.
What are you grateful for today ? Am grateful for the rain showers that brought some respite from the heat.

Today it rained in the evening and for an hour or so, around 6 pm the skies cleared and the Sun bid goodbye for the day … Captured the beautiful twilight hour in a few photographs that do no justice to the spectacle :).
From 5 pm today the skies have been putting up a performance – rolling thunder, streaking lightning and then rains. Is it signalling the end of winter ? I don’t have to say anything …. it rained a little in the evening and then the skies turned magical. Just couldn’t take our eyes off the stunning vista ! Stunning … isn’t it ?
