We visited the beautiful Ramtek Mandir, near Nagpur on Nov 13th. It is believed that Bhagwan Rama, Maa Sita and Lakshmana took rest here during their vanavas.

We visited the Chennimalai Subramania Swamy Temple on Nov 24th. It’s a beautiful, serene 3000 year old temple on a small hill, near Erode.
The humble Palm nectar is truly an elixir called Neera !! The pale colour liquid tastes divine. It’s chilled to avoid fermentation that will convert it to Toddy :).
We have spent a few days in the beautiful city of Coimbatore and are liking it more each day ! Temples, greenery and really nice people.
Kakanmath Temple is a 11th century Shiva temple built by the Kachchhapaghata ruler Kritiraj, named after his wife Kakanavati probably. Today its in ruins … and almost forgotten.
Pranpur Village, Chanderi is a weaving village with every house having a loom ! We visited on Nov 9th and ofcourse I bought a few sarees.
We visited the Chausath Yogini Temple aka Ekattarso Mahadeva Temple at Mitaoli, Morena District, MP on Nov 8th. It’s a must visit.
Nagpur’s Varhadi Thaat Restaurant serves lip smacking authentic Maharashtrian food. We enjoyed our meal there and highly recommend it.
