Consistency Is The Key, And I Keep Losing The Key !

On June 21, 2025 the world celebrated the International Yoga Day. The Habuild Online Yoga team was attempting a world record and I also participated in this event on the 21st. There were concurrently 7.52 lakh people who attended the online class and hopefully did yoga on June 21. When I posted in my school group, I realised that almost every one of my school friends is a part of Habuild. It’s a fantastic platform that does help you with HAbit BUILDing, but it didnt factor in nice people like me.

Habuild and Saurabh Bothra must know that some of us have a PhD in Excuses 🙂 especially when it comes to consistency in doing some form of exercise.

I joined the Habuild community on Nov 2, 2024. Thanks to my cousin Pavithra’s husband Ravi who introduced me to this community….. wouldn’t have done even one day of Yoga if I hadn’t been a part of Habuild.

Joining is one thing, doing Yoga is a whole different thing ….

I completed 38 days of doing Yoga on Feb 28, 2025. A cool 120 days later :). The Habuild team is truly motivating and I mean that in all seriousness. Even a seasoned excuse-giver like me is tempted to attend at least a couple of classes in the week, and sometimes even outdo my own expectations by attending five consecutive days!!

The next milestone I reached was on June 20th this year when I managed to complete 80 days of Yoga with Habuild. It was 180 days since I had joined the program and I just ignored the “1”… hey I got 80 days of yoga. Give me a break please. Am getting consistent, because consistency is the key.

Am getting better at it because it took me 120 days to complete 38 days of yoga… and in 78 days after that I managed to do 42 days of yoga. Frantically searching for the key of consistency and finding it every other day at least.

You need to give up your hard earned PhD in Excuses and get onto some exercise routine. Just keep moving around the office/house everywhere. Even that is better than staring at reels, sitting in one spot all day long, ok for hours, consistently. 🙄

Hopefully my next update should be when I manage to do yoga everyday for 30 days …. am optimistic, it will happen. If I can be consistent with the excuses I can also be consistent with the exercise. You see, consistency is the key …. to what ? Well, you decide.

Three cheers to Team Habuild ! You guys have managed to break my stubborn streak of excuses.
