As we celebrate yet another silent Deepavali in Delhi NCR, here’s hoping the next year is smoke free and “gyan” free :)!!

Aadi Perukku or the 18th day of the Tamil month of Aadi, is celebrated in TN by making different mixed rice varieties and going on a picnic.
We had a muted celebration for Deepavali this year but did decorate the house a little and made one sweet for tradition’s sake.
We missed witnessing the Deepotsav at Ayodhya this year too but it was wonderful to see PM Modi and CM Yogi at the decked up Ramanagari.

We are celebrating Diwali in Chennai after 8 years. The sound of crackers and the beautifully lit up sky was fun to see.
We celebrated Krishna Janmashtami yesterday as Sri Jayanthi. We celebrate one day later when the star he was born under Rohini, comes around.
