Deepavali is around the corner and this blog talks about some of the traditions associated with Diwali. Unfortunately our “secular” brigade wants to misappropriate and distort this important Hindu festival too :(.

Sharing some of the Deepavali traditions followed in our homes. This is to record these traditions and compile them for future generations.
For us South Indians, Deepavali was yesterday. Since we live in the north, we celebrate on both the days – yesterday and today.
