Osho on Living Consciously
In this excerpt Osho talks of living consciously. To quote him “So remember this: whatsoever you are doing consciously, with alertness, fully aware, becomes meditation.”
This blog is our space to write about our thoughts, views and notes about our travels. Osho owned 90 Rolls Royces while being a Sanyasi …. The so-felt contradiction is very fascinating and hence the name !
In this excerpt Osho talks of living consciously. To quote him “So remember this: whatsoever you are doing consciously, with alertness, fully aware, becomes meditation.”
Dr. Marty Makary’s book highlights systemic issues in U.S. healthcare, revealing unnecessary surgeries, medical errors, waste, and financial incentives that compromise patient care, promoting awareness and demanding reform.
Thirupaavai Paasuram #18 is all about women empowerment. My new insight is, this is about being a sponsor for Women rather than just “talk” about empowerment !
Happy New Year. This Julian year starts with Paasuram #17 in which Andal talks about how ego doesn’t help in one’s spiritual growth. At work too, ego doesn’t help with team building.
In Paasuram #13 Andal speaks about how over sleeping robs you of valuable time. It’s so true … we waste so much time when we are young and then have little time as we age to do things we always wanted to.
Paasuram #12 is all about persistence and grit in the face of constraints as we try and reach our goals in life… Its also about entitlement and how that doesn’t help.
This Paasuram seems to be proving the proverb, “show me your friends and I will tell you who you are”. Surround yourself with friends and co-workers who help you succeed.
In Paasuram #10 we see a persistent Andal trying to get another friend who sleeps like Kumbhakarna to join in the Margazhi celebration ! With friends only “chatting” over WhatsApp this is a refreshing paasuram. 🙂
Thirupaavai Paasuram #9 has been written for the well-to-do modern man who only wants to get richer ! It’s a call to reflect on what you are doing and why !!
Thirupaavai Paasuram #8 is all about teamwork and not leaving anyone behind as a leader. It’s also about enthusiasm. The “can do” attitude.
