In Tamil Nadu, the month of Purattasi is significant for lighting the Perumal Maavu Thiruvilakku. This year we were able to witness the 10008 vadai alankaram at the Peelamedu Anjaneyar temple.
Foggy Tirumala and Cool Balaji
The Tirumala trip for Nachi’s Shastiabdapoorthi was a mix of comfort and spiritual experiences. The modern amenities provided a good night’s sleep, while the darshan at the temple was moving. However, the heat and confusion after the darshan led to an emotional outburst, which I later regretted. Edukondalavada Venkataramana Govinda Govinda 🙏🏿
Meeting Balaji After 15 Years !
On Jan 9th, we finally got the darshan of Tirupati Balaji after 15 long years …. the feeling is indescribable. Sarvam Vishnu Mayam Jagat !
Puratasi Saturday – Perumal Maavu Thiruvilakku
On the first Saturday of the Tamil month of Puratasi, the tradition is to light a Maavu Thiruvilakku for Tirupati Balaji, thanking him for appearing on Earth.
