During our morning walk today, we found the road repair folks getting ready to repair the internal roads in our condo complex. There was a gas cylinder, some coal tar, a single burner stove . I clicked the following picture because I was reminded (unfortunately) of the Coimbatore gas cylinder blast on Oct 23. 🙁
Thankfully these containers only had coal tar and one was empty.

The ministers of the Tamil Nadu government lead by a chief minister called “Stalin” are trying their best to wish this incident away because the accused’s name is Jamesha Mubeen. The biggest thorn in their flesh is Mr. Annamalai, the young fiery “Singham” who doesnt mince words while calling out the “Gopalapuram” dynasty.
I don’t support either AIADMK or the DMK – nothing much to choose between the two, except that DMK is blatantly anti-Hindu and wants to carve TN out of India. It’s these dumeels who started the brilliant (pun intended) campaign about Raja Raja Chola not being a Hindu 🙄. Yeah, someone who built a one-of-its-kind Temple for Bhagwan Shiva (Brihadeeswara Temple) is not a Hindu.

The Coimbatore blast is not an isolated incident … the accused was under NIA’s watch it seems. Then why did they take their eyes off this guy ? He seems to have been an ISIS sympathiser. Every single thing is a red flag for common citizens like us, but the TN Police doesn’t like Annamalai stating these things.
The plan seems to have been to blow up the Kottai Eswaran temple aka Sangameswarar Temple. The Sangameswarar temple is at least 1300 years old as it was built by Karikala Chola who didn’t have any heir and handed over the reins of the Chola empire to Raja Raja Chola’s father Sundara Chola.
Am glad that leaders of the Muslim community have met up with the temple functionaries post the blast to ease the tensions.
Hoping to see no more of these blasts anywhere. Seeing the gas cylinder during our morning walk made me think of the Coimbatore blast… Thankfully the temple stands. Har Har Mahadev. 🙏🏿

The only reason there was no further loss of lives in CBE that day before Deepavali was the grace of Sangameswara Himself 🙏🙏. It was heartening to see multi-faith leaders strongly condemn the act of terror. They shoulder the responsibility to reform (and prevent) youth from being radicalized. Hoping and praying for the time when the religious minorities become truly secular in their mindset. It has been the sole responsibility of the religious majority all along.
