Finally watched Ponniyin Selvan or PS-1 a few days back on TV at home. Came away with mixed feelings as the novel left a very different image of the characters. Disappointed.

Sri Bhyrappa’s Kannada novel “Anchu” is translated to “Brink”. Use of archaic, idiomatic English makes it difficult to read this magnum opus.
