After struggling to read a heavy geopolitics book, I discovered “The Housemaid” by Freida McFadden, which provided an engaging read with twists and turns. Good for a quick read 3/5.

The second book in the Maj Aaditya series is also a page turner. Do read the 2nd Fugitive for another well written spy thriller.

A Train to Moscow is a beautifully written book by Elena Gorokhova. Takes you behind the iron curtain post WWII. Worth a read !
A beautiful story with Venice and WWII as the backdrop. A sad ending of one love story with the promise of the next one being a happy ending.
