Some men, anyway. I live as close to nature and spend as much time as possible outside and away from man’s box-like attitudes. It occurs to me that nothing in nature can be defined in three-dimensional terms, yet “science” tries to claim we live in a 3-D world.
That describes a box. We live, drive, and work in boxes, and watch electronic boxes (like TV and computers) for information about everything from the weather to world events. It amuses me when people watch the weather channel instead of stepping outside to know the weather. “Get out of the box,” I want to shout. We would all be healthier and happier.
You say it so well :). My husband and I do the same. We prefer being out of the house, travelling or meeting people or taking a walk. Cooped up inside four walls is so boring.
Thank you. The thoughts have come together rather recently, as I’ve been pondering how limiting the 3-D version of the world is.
