Rain Soaked Dilli :)

After nearly three years we went to our auditor’s office in Paschim Vihar on Monday, July 11. As soon as we sat in the taxi, it started to drizzle and then intensified into a downpour. I clicked a few pictures of the rain soaked Dilli :).

Rain - Dilli
I love this pic that I took through the windshield … Dilli is so beautiful

I have said it in several blogposts, am a total Delhiphile, if there is such a word. I love this city with all its warts and pockmarks. The very fact that we walk over thousands of years of history every day in the Delhi NCR region makes it something special.

Dilli - rains
On our way back, the rains had abated a bit, but small rivulets were flowing and tiny lakes were forming everywhere :):)

I have no love lost for the CM of Delhi Thugpurush Kejriwal….. and to think that we campaigned for this vile man once !

Dilli Rains
The Sun came out blazing in all His glory … and we were left wishing it rained some more !

It felt good to be back in offices and meeting people face to face after a looooong break. Hoping that things just get back to normal and there are no new waves of the Chinese virus. We also need lots of rains, so that the temperatures go down and we have some pleasant weather.
