Happy New Year 2026 !
The start of last year 2025, was in Coimbatore and we went to our favourite walking track – the Kumaraswamy Lake. The walking track around the lake is almost two kilometres long and you can also extend the distance by walking a kilometre towards the back of the park. There are beautiful birds and the sunrise is stunning every time that we managed to catch it. Walking at the Kumaraswamy Lake is a highlight of our visit to Coimbatore.

2026 started well for us … with a good meal, some sweets and lots of wishes from friends and family. An impromptu group call on Whatsapp was fun and some of the KVHV girls managed to catch up, hopefully we will all get to do a reunion this year. It has been pending for a while now.
The sun almost didnt make an appearance today in Delhi NCR and it was a cold foggy day. We had to use the clothes stand to dry the clothes.
Evening brought us the warmth of a birthday party ! Ashwin and Kripa’s son turned one today and we walked across to our neighbour’s home and joined the fun. Food was outstanding as always and we had a great time.
Last year we had started the year by going out for lunch with Usha, Rangaraj, Gayatri and Ananya.. Narayanan was working hard so couldn’t join us. As expected, we took no pictures :).
As Osho says, God is a celebration ! so wishing everyone a very happy new year ! Have fun, celebrate.
