Over the last couple of days I have been taking a few pics of the setting Sun. No particular reason why, but I love the colours of the sky in the evening around the time the Sun sets… sometimes it’s purple, several shades of red and orange.
Today we took the car out for a drive and again caught the setting Sun.
Krishnan takes amazing pictures and both the pics above are clicked by him.
The photo below is of the setting Sun yesterday from our balcony. The net is to stop pigeons from using the balcony as their home :). It’s a burst of colours … yellow, red, purple, rose and some blue-grey. You can just stand and watch the spectacle. I love the lights as well of the Maximum city !
On Oct 17, it was the Sharad Purnima and the full moon was out in all its glory. Krishnan and I went out for a short walk just to see the full moon. Here are some pics –

On Oct 16th also the moon was nearly full .. but there were lots of clouds. So it was a hide and seek that the moon was playing with the dark clouds.
The following pic is of the setting Sun on Oct 12th. All the condominiums are rising up to meet the setting Sun 🙂
The following two pics are from Oct 4th. We had just got back from our trip to the south and the sky was dramatic … you can let your imagination run wild with these clouds. Some thought it was like a lion with its mane flowing as it roared… Maybe that’s what it is :). Have taken these pictures from Mom’s bedroom window, so no pigeon net to obstruct the views.

In August we had lots of rain. This year I guess the rainfall was more than normal. I clicked the following picture during a morning walk in Aug. Its not the setting Sun but the rising Sun. Looks just as stunning.
The last one in this photoblog is from March this year… fallen leaves and the early morning Sun playing peekaboo.
Hope you enjoyed seeing the pics as much as I enjoyed clicking them and more importantly enjoyed the scenes as they unfolded. Am still from the generation that has to remember to click pictures of “everything”. :):)
