The results of 5 state elections came in today – Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Manipur and Goa. For BJP the score was 4/5 and AAP won in Punjab. I think of every victory for BJP as the victory for Dharma because there is no other national party today as a viable, credible and nationalistic alternative. AAP’s victory I attribute to Karma.
Am all for democracy and having different parties with different ideologies fighting an election. We need to hear everyone’s voice. Ideologies can be different, but no political party can be anti-national. Unfortunately for India, till 2014, we have had successive governments that were similar in their ideology – keep India as a poor nation, make tall promises and laugh all the way to the bank.
I am no fan of the BJP. I am a fan of Modiji and now Yogi. Hoping that Yogi will one day succeed Modiji and take India even further. What I like about the BJP is that it doesn’t have a central family. Every other political party in India is a family heirloom that’s passed on from one generation to the other. Karunanidhi’s family owns DMK, Mulayam Singh Yadav’s family owns SP, poor farmer Sharad Pawar’s family own NCP, Thackerays own Shiv Sena and ofcourse Gandhis own CONgress … The same gene pool takes the same bad decisions :(.
Victory in Uttar Pradesh
Yogi Ji getting re-elected is the best news today. We celebrated with Jalebi and Kachori.
Its no surprise to see Yogi Ji getting re-elected. If anyone had attended the Kumbh mela in Feb 2019 at Prayagraj, they would have known that this Yogi is a different kettle of fish ! Kumbh 2019 – Hope, Pride and all things Spiritual. When Yogi Ji was made the CM in 2017, we were also sceptics – would he be a good administrator ? Well, he not only turned us around but he turned around Uttar Pradesh. Do read an earlier post of mine – North India Vs South India
For all those who froth at their mouth about a “Yogi” becoming a CM and flaunting his Hindu identity, your secular idol Akhilesh Yadav was superstitious enough not to ever visit Noida as the CM. Yogi ji and Modi Ji both went to Noida a few times breaking all superstitions. How is that for being modern ? Its not the clothes that make you modern, its the thinking 🙄.
Law and Order has been restored to U.P after the term lost all its meaning under Akhilesh Yadav ! No wonder the people of Uttar Pradesh voted for Yogi Ji.
A nice cartoon by Kureel showing how SP fared at each stage of the election –
Punjab – Victory for AAP
I am certainly unhappy about AAP winning in Punjab even if its Karma playing out. Thugpurush Arvind Kejriwal has time and again been a disappointment but more importantly, he seems to be supporting the Khalistani separatist movement.
Remember Kumar Vishwas, a former (???) comrade of Arvind Kejriwal said – ‘Kejriwal wants to become PM of independent Khalistan’: What did Kumar Vishwas say?. I don’t know if this is true because I take everything that Arvind Kejriwal, Kumar Vishwas and Yogendra Yadav say with a mountain of salt.
My worry is Punjab faces several fundamental issues – drugs, incentivised Christian conversions, soil poisoning, water woes and losing the status of being the “bread basket” of India. The farmer (middlemen) protest was largely funded by deracinated Canadian Sikhs. Sad that our folks fell for it.
I cannot think of India without the Sardars, Punjabis and Sikhism. I love the community and their spirit of Seva, having almost been brought up in a Sardar household. Their love for India is unquestionable. As I wrote in my blog Special Day Today – Celebrating Two Heroes of India, Guru Tegh Bahadur gave his life to protect Hinduism and the Hindu way of life.
Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s sons were martyred for the motherland and again to protect our way of life. Sikhs can never be separated from India – this is their motherland. This whole attempt at bringing back the Khalistani movement is another toolkit to break India.
Will Thugpurush Kejriwal work for himself or will he be a patriot ? I am scared to know the answer to that question and that’s what bothers me the most.
On a lighter note and with no offence meant – one ex-comedian President (Zelensky) ensured his country gets invaded by Russia by foolishly flirting with NATO and the US. Now Bhagwant Singh Mann, another ex-comedian becomes the Chief Minister of Punjab ….. hope he doesn’t foolishly flirt with Pakistan or continue his dalliance with alcohol.
Congratulations to all the winners. Victory in the election is just getting the responsibility of doing good for your people. Hopefully everyone does that.
Jai Hind. Jai Hind Ki Sena.
