Headlines screaming across channels – Nice attack: Three dead and several injured in suspected terror assault on church.
Not Nice … but in Paris
Just ten days back Samuel Paty, a 47 year old French teacher was beheaded by Abdoullakh Anzorov, an 18 year old teenager. This teenager’s parents migrated from Chechnya when he was six years old. Apparently his half sister disappeared from France to join ISIS. Abdoullakh, post killing Paty, posted a photo of the beheaded body on Twitter with the message: “In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful. To Macron, leader of the infidels, I executed one of your hellhounds who dared to belittle Muhammad, calm his fellow human beings before a harsh punishment is inflicted on you.”
In Nice … Yet Again
A man and a woman were killed inside the church and a third person, died in a bar nearby where they had taken refuge, according to the news reports… The woman was beheaded, much like Samuel Paty.
Again unconfirmed sources say, the attacker was around 25-years old and cried “Allahu Akbar” as he carried out the assault.
The New Terror Axis – Turkey, Pakistan and Malaysia
Reacting to today’s Nice attack, ex-President of Malaysia Mr. Mahathir, had this to say – Malaysian ex-PM Mahathir says Muslims ‘have right to kill French. This is the same man who felt Zakir Naik, the notorious Muslim “preacher” who instigates violence through his video sermons, was unsafe in India and hence refused to deport him.
Then our friendly neighbour Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Mr. Imran Khan wanted to recall his country’s envoy to France …. only challenge is, Pakistan has NO envoy in France to recall. I don’t know whether Imran wants egg on his face along with tomatoes and onions or would he rather have a French Toast ??
Mr. Erdogan, a “pious” fundamentalist Muslim leader of Turkey had this to say in one of his speeches “What’s the problem of the individual called Macron with Islam and with the Muslims?… Macron needs treatment on a mental level. What else can be said to a head of state who does not understand freedom of belief and who behaves in this way to millions of people living in his country who are members of a different faith?”
People living in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones … Mr. Erdogan, is forcibly changing the social fabric of Turkey from being a secular open society to being a fundamentalist Islamic society.
The new axis of terror is definitely Pakistan, Turkey and Malaysia … and the literal and figurative elephant in the room is China. What are its plans ???? Will it remain just a land hungry nation or will it support terrorism too ?
Times are Not Nice ..
The Virus will leave at some point in time, but the virus of terrorism (that obviously is not religious in nature $#@%^) will only take leave after it has had its share of lives :(:(. And yeah, all religions are peace loving … as evidenced by the two incidents above. BTW, it was also very clear how peaceful all religions are during the Charlie Hebdo attack where only 12 people were killed, mercifully by shooting.
Praying peacefully for France and my beloved India. RIP Samuel Paty and today’s victims.
