We visited the Padmanabha Swamy Temple in Jan 2020 for the Lakshadeepam celebration. Lakshadeepam – A Fauji to the rescue ! Ever since the pandemic hit, we haven’t been to a temple. Rectified that today morning with a visit to the nearby Siddhi Ganesh Mandir.
I wore the Silk-Cotton saree that we bought from Cooptex in 2016. Brown & Black Silk Cotton Saree.
We walked down to the temple and it was a nice way to start the day. After many many years we did the Navagraha Pradakshanam (circumambulate) at the Shri Siddhi Ganesh Mandir today. We had been to this Mandir 8 years back and Amma would visit often with Girija. But in the last three to four years even Amma hasn’t been visiting the Mandir regularly.
M S Subbulakshmi started chanting the Vishnu Sahasranamam just as we left and we continued the chanting in our head…. beautiful beginning to the day.
