India’s #VaccineMaitri program has been in the forefront of the war against the Wuhan Corona Virus as we have become the vaccine production hub for the world. Its truly a moment of happiness and great pride that a country that was till recently a “3rd world” nation is able to help so many people across the world.

While India enhances its goodwill and becomes the global hub for vaccine production, China continues its hegemonic activities. It starts by fomenting trouble in Myanmar. The world and UN as always watch benignly !
Coup in Myanmar
On Feb 1, the Military in Myanmar declared a coup just as elections were won by Ms Aung Suu Kyi’s National League for Democracy (NLD) party. The Military was supporting the opposition and guess who is propping up the Military ? Obviously China. Myanmar is strategically located and traditionally has had very close ties with India.
If you want to know about the close ties we share with Myanmar, just visit traditional Chettinad homes in Karaikudi. The entire house would have Burma Teak ! Ms Suu Kyi got her education in Delhi. China knows all this and its following the template that it used for Tibet, Nepal, Pakistan, Laos etc in Myanmar.
It offers large loans, supports non-democratic players and slowly becomes an indispensable ally/foe. Its creating trouble in India’s neighbourhood, because we stand in the way of world domination by China.
The Trump administration had thrown out some Chinese academics for being government agents and industrial espionage. India has identified several journalists that are on China’s payroll. Australia has halted the Huawei 5G implementation. The Quad became a reality. These are not isolated events…
Will the world realise that China’s hegemony is dangerous ? Or is it too late and the world will be eaten up piece by piece ?
