Jumping with joy !!

Today we received the much awaited 80G exemption for ShikshaDaan. It helps us raise more resources and thereby impact even more beneficiaries positively. Phew ! It has been a tough two years because we met so many deserving scholars as we travelled across India, but we were unable to meet everyone’s requirements. Now with the 80G exemption, we are certainly hoping that we can raise enough resources to help many more deserving scholars.

Once we had our 12AA registration in July 2016, with the help of our corporate sponsors, we were able to move forward significantly but several other corporate sponsors were ready to fund us only after we got the 80G exemption. Now that we have the exemption, we look forward to more corporate sponsors working with ShikshaDaan.

This exemption comes just in time as we prepare our projects for the academic year 2018-19.
