Postcards from Dalhousie

Warning – Those living in Delhi, Chennai and other places that have sweltering heat please don’t go further :):):). These pictures will really make you feel hotter.

Dates we stayed in Dalhousie – April 27 to 30.

Hotel – Hotel Grand View

Rooms – We stayed in the suite and its huge. Beautifully upholstered, there is a dining table for four, room heaters in both rooms, TVs in both rooms, huge bathroom….. And views to die for :):).

Food – We recommend everything. Great food. We didn’t cook anything here except the first day when we had brought food with us and yes, we made our own tea the way we like it. There is also a kettle in the room in case you want to have the “dip dip” chai.

The fact is none of the above is the reason you should stay at Grand View… The only reason you should stay at Grand View is because of their service. Read about it at Grand views… grander service.

All rooms face the mountains and the awesome views

you inhaled sharply ? now hold your breath :):)

Dont breathe out yet … we had morning tea, evening tea, while looking out at this :):)

ok breathe out and see the pics again … these are the Pir Panjal range of mountains that are snow covered in the distance

During the day, the clouds block out the mountain views

When it was about to rain ..,

A panoramic shot …. Grand View indeed

Arun Krishnan, now you see why I asked you to wait for this blogpost :):):)

  1. Bindu,

Delighted to see the breathtaking photographs you are posting in these blog. Just to let you know, in case, you already do not know about it, there is an App called “Panorama” in Apple IOS. I know you use your pad to great use. Try this app in your future visit. Very simple to use, no alignment issues and a beautiful 360 degree photographs without any stitching issues.

Looking forward to your future posts.

    • Col, I used the iPhone to take the panoramic shot. It’s the last pic on this post. :). Both Krishnan and I are diehard Apple fans. Glad you liked the pictures.
